Project 1 Draft
For this first draft I haven’t yet been able to find a time to shoot where the building is open, so I attempted to place a small narrative of me trying to get into the building with exterior shots.
The second version is just regular exterior shots in sequence.
I hope to add more time lapse shots in the future on a tripod and of course get all the lovely ceilings and walls inside.
Video Drafts
I am filming my video about the kerrytown shopping center, with Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, Mvmt. 4 in the background to enhance the feeling of peace and comfort this building brings to the community. In my first clip, I am waiting on one more piece of footage, so I left the red curtains as a placeholder.
99% of Ideas Come From Somewhere Else
Couldn’t find his Ted Talk, but this video has everything that I spoke of last Friday: Alan Gregerman: The Necessity of Strangers

I chose Michigan League for this project. It has a beautiful interior! I’m not sure if I wanna use similar scenes to connect the entire video.
Video Draft 1
For my draft I studied the law library and its architecture, and I think I will also explore somewhere else before landing on a final decision, however I think that the architecture of this building is really interesting and beautiful with a lot of character and want to figure it out further.
15 Second Samples
These are two 15 second samples of the footage I have filmed so far for the Moving Pictures project:
